Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 24, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the HomeForge website (homeforge.app), the HomeForge application (crm.homeforge.app) and related services (together, the "Services"). The Services are operated by Methodforge LTD., Unit 300, 340 Midpark Way SE, Calgary, Alberta T2X 1P1, Canada ("Methodforge", "we", "our", "us").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Services on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that company, and "you" includes the company.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, and able to form a binding contract, to create an account or use the Services.

3. The Services

HomeForge is software for contractors, home builders and renovation companies to write quotes, collect e-signatures, run jobs, track warranty and service requests, invoice customers and communicate with them. Customers of those contractors can use a free HomeForge account to review and sign quotes, follow their project, approve changes and pay invoices.

We may add, change or remove features from time to time to improve the Services.

4. Accounts and Sign-In

  • You can sign in with an email address and password, or with a Google or Microsoft account. When you use Google or Microsoft, that provider's own terms also apply to your use of their sign-in.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@homeforge.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Accounts are for one person. Do not share your login with others.

5. Organizations and Customer Accounts

A contractor's HomeForge account belongs to an organization. The person who creates an organization accepts these Terms on its behalf and confirms they have authority to do so. The organization's administrators control who has access, what each role can see, and the business content stored in the organization, and the organization is responsible for the users its administrators invite and for their use of the Services.

When a contractor invites you as a customer, the contractor controls the project information they share with you. Your agreement for the work itself, including any quote you sign, is between you and the contractor. Methodforge is not a party to that agreement and is not responsible for the contractor's work, pricing or conduct.

6. Electronic Signatures

You agree that quotes, change orders and other documents you sign through the Services may be signed electronically, and that your electronic signature is intended to have the same effect as a handwritten one where the law allows. Each party is responsible for making sure electronic signatures are appropriate for its own documents and jurisdiction.

7. Smith AI

Smith, the built-in AI assistant, drafts quotes and suggests changes based on the information you provide. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing every suggestion, including prices, quantities, taxes and terms, before you accept, save or send it.

8. Subscriptions, Billing and Payments

  • Some features require a paid subscription. Pricing, seats and billing cycles are described on our pricing page or in your account.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Online invoice payments between a contractor and its customers are also subject to Stripe's terms, and the contractor is responsible for its own invoices, taxes and refunds.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. The new price applies from your next billing period.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading.
  • Send spam, or send messages to people who have not agreed to hear from you.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Upload malware or try to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts or our systems.
  • Interfere with the Services, or scrape, copy or reverse engineer them except where the law allows.
  • Resell the Services or use them to build a competing product.

10. Your Data

You keep ownership of the content you submit to HomeForge. You give us permission to host, process and display that content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Services. You are responsible for having the right to enter any personal information about your customers, staff or vendors into HomeForge.

How we handle personal information, including information received from Google Sign-In, is described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data, or ask us to, by contacting support@homeforge.app.

11. Intellectual Property

The Services, including the software, the HomeForge name and logo, and our content, are owned by Methodforge and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services under these Terms. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.

12. Third-Party Services

The Services rely on and link to third-party services such as Google, Microsoft and Stripe. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

13. Availability and Changes

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the Services, with reasonable notice where possible.

14. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Methodforge is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Services in the one month before the claim arose, or CA$100.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Methodforge against claims, losses and costs arising from your content, your use of the Services in breach of these Terms, or your dealings with your own customers, staff and vendors.

16. Termination

You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Services or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including those on data, intellectual property, liability and indemnity, will survive.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of Alberta, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify account holders by email or in the app. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

19. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@homeforge.app or by mail to Methodforge LTD., Unit 300, 340 Midpark Way SE, Calgary, Alberta T2X 1P1, Canada.
